Greetings...

My name is ally and I am the surrendered woman of my owner who is known online as Cavalier.

I have been beneath his hand for well over eight years now and gratefully live in his home, serving him in whatever method and manner he chooses and it is in this way that I thrive, having discovered that being at his feet (both figuratively and literally) is most natural for me. Although the road is often paved with obstacles and a life of "consensual slavery" is one that takes conscious effort and hard work, it is the life in which I have found fulfillment and serenity.

Because of my absolute surrender to him, my owner calls me his slave and as long as he calls me such, it is the label that I will identify with. While we have spent a great deal of time associating with those who wear a Gorean mantle, my owner does not choose to do so but rather lives and orchestrates our lives as a testament to who we are and is not largely concerned with whether he fits into someone else's preconceived mold or label.

I was fortunate enough (From September of 2002 until February of 2003) to be allowed to share my owner with another girl (a marvelous and beautiful girl at that), whom Master had named lily.  While she has since begged release, I believe that my life is indeed richer for having had her in it and she is still one of the most wonderful friends I have ever known.

Currently I am employed running a small, home-based business dealing in vintage jewelry, rhinestones, antiques, and collectibles which helps me to earn my keep in Master's home.  In addition, I also do leather-crafting and with my owner I help to create various leather goods related to the lifestyle.  If you would like to see some of those creations, please click here.

I have a wide range of hobbies and interests and am for the most part given "free" reign to pursue them.  I am an artist and while I enjoy drawing and painting in a wide variety of traditional media, I have found my niche in the digital art world, using a WACOM tablet and various paint programs.  I enjoy producing fantasy art, Gorean/lifestyle related work, and pinup girls.  (click HERE to see some of my work)

Another avenue of artistic/creative expression for me is jewelry-making.  I have been creating various forms of jewelry for more than twenty years and for the past fifteen or so, I've been working primarily with semi-precious stone, glass, silver, and gold beads.  I create anything from the simplest bracelet or earrings to lifestyle related wear (collars, anklets, etc.).  

I am also a published poet, having had work appear in a few respected poetry journals and also dabble in a bit of fiction as well, hoping to someday complete a set of children's books based loosely on the time I spent as a child in Northern Michigan.  I also enjoy writing essays and narratives about topics that I feel passionately about.   I find that while I rarely post to the various boards and such that I am a member of, when I am moved by a specific topic or discussion, there is little I can do to stop the flow of words that erupt as a result.

In addition to both art and writing, I am also a musician and songwriter.  I sing, play piano, guitar, bass, recorder, a bit of percussion and just about any other instrument I can get my hands on.  While I suffer from terminal stage fright, I do enjoy playing for small groups of family and friends and especially for Master (who is an amazing musician himself).  If you'd care to hear a sample of my music, please click here and you can peruse a few tunes.

One of my other great passions is cooking and while it is something I have always enjoyed, I find that I enjoy it so much more so since being in service to my owner.  I spend a lot of time in the kitchen, experimenting with new recipes and learning his old favorites as well so that I can provide a wide variety of dishes for him (and I also really dig the Food Network on cable *grins*)

I have so many other hobbies and passions but I fear that to go into detail about each one would be rather time consuming and might bore you to tears so I'll just list a few more - photography, cosmetology, music (rock <both classic and modern>, jazz, metal, punk, alternative, opera, classical, renaissance, standards, new age, ambient, and more), pistol shooting (indoor range), pool (9-ball preferably), watching Detroit Red Wings hockey, web publishing, reading (poetry, fiction, and non), ceramics, fishing, camping, horseback riding, metaphysics and paranormal studies, and various historic cultures, especially Egyptian and Celtic.  *whew*  There really are many more but I think this will have to do for now.  :)

When it comes to the time spent online, I find that I mostly enjoy lifestyle related venues that are geared primarily for discussion.  While I have no beef against role-playing and those who engage in cyber-service and the like, I believe that as my service to my owner is my reality, my online time should reflect that as well.  I do not differentiate between online and offline -  I am me, I am his slave, and I am this person no matter where I am or how I interact.  That is why you will not see me use fantasy art avatars or taglines such as "online and offline slave"  or "Owned vt and rt" as I believe that to be owned is to be owned period.  It doesn't start or stop when the computer is turned on or off and a trip into virtual space does not change who I am.
